Bead making
In this class, you will learn the basics to make glass beads of your very own. After an artist demonstration, you will select your colors and a basic bead shape. You will then learn to handle a mandrel (thin metal rod) in a flame while applying glass from a colored rod. Each participant will make 3-4 beads. After your beads are complete, they are placed in an oven to begin the slow cooling process.
